    When I returned from Vietnam, a big hit then playing was “Take It Easy” by the Eagles. That song really resonated with me having survived quite a bit since ‘69. I felt so free and so ready to kick up my heals and enjoy a summer back home. “Take it Easy” still resonates with me after all these years….

The smell of the hot asphalt mixed with food smells in the McDonald’s parking lot at lunchtime. Nights spent drinking beer and looking for girls, usually unsuccessfully.
