    Funny how this works, I’m also a Monty Python fan and always thought Benny Hill was funny, but a Brit I work with thinks Benny Hill is at the bottom of the list of British comedians. Says he isn’t so popular in England.

    I was always shooed out of the room whenever my uncle would watch Benny Hill. Seeing it as an adult I think it is obnoxious. I think my uncle only watched it for bimbos.

    As I recall, I always watched in the 70’s, while high or drinking…perhaps THAT is why I recall it being funny!
